Course Details

Hazel Jenkins discusses the challenges faced in clinical practice from imaging overuse. Overuse of imaging rights has led to limitations for Chiropractors in recent years and it is important that guidelines are considered and behavioural change is adopted moving forward to prevent further restrictions.

For this to happen, it is important to address the behaviours that are limiting change, these include the belief that imaging will confirm diagnosis and direct treatment, provide protection from medicolegal proceedings and the routine use of imaging for patient reassurance and education.
