In this module Tom will inform you on how to diagnoses and recognize hemiplegic migraines. The pathophysiology of hemiplegic migraines will be discussed and a variety of treatment options will be proposed.

Tom Claykens

Tom Claykens graduated in 2007 with a Master’s degree in Exercise Sciences at the University of Leuven, Belgium. In 2011 he finished his MChiro at the AECC. After gaining 6 years of clinical experience in The Netherlands, he moved to Biddenden, Kent, England with his wife to set up their own practice. During his first 3 years in practice, Tom followed the extensive chiropractic neurology programme from the Carrick Institute to sit and pass the Diplomate exam of the American Chiropractic Neurology Board (DACNB). Tom lectured part-time at the Barcelona College of Chiropractic between 2013-2015 and co-founded the accredited post-graduate seminar institute, Brain and Neuroplasticity in 2015. In his free time, Tom is a dad of 3 and enjoys his daily exercise.
